It's the way she looks at me...
Nov. 23rd, 2006 | 11:17 pm
music: It Dies Today - Severed Ties Yield Severed Heads
It's the way she looks at me and possesses me to collect the head of anyone.
Collect the head of those who look her way.
It's the way her whispers seem to kiss my ear.
I'd collect the head of anyone.
Collect the head of those graced by her voice
That's the chorus. It's sung so beautifully, you'd never think that it'd fit in a song like this. But those who bother to listen and those who can stand the sound of static til the chorus will be dutifully rewarded.
Nice. I love this band.
Unfortunately, they sucketh ass live.

Dear Muhammad,
Here is your horoscope
for Thursday, November 23:
You're all business! You have quotas to meet, people to hire and tasks to finish. Anyone who dawdles or slacks off on their duties is definitely not on your wavelength today. You accomplish more than you thought possible.
I only read this after my day was done... and the only thing I thought to myself was...
omFg, this is soooo fucking true. Anyone who chatted with me on MSN in the day knows this for a fact, I was busy as hell and I actually did finish everything before I reached home.
I'm tired as FUCK, but it's really fulfilling.
And trust me, dealing with like 30 different cargos in one day... not a thrilling ride. But it is a ride, nontheless.

I was in the shower and right before shaving, I was closely scrutinising my face. I was looking out for fine hairs on my face so that I can shave them clean...
Until I spotted and realised that my eyebrows are definitely growing way out of control. Do you know what this means?
EYEBROW SHAPING!!

Fitting In.
Nov. 21st, 2006 | 01:27 pm
location: The Office
mood:
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Work is becoming tremendously enjoyable. Sure, at times, I feel like killing myself, especially when there is just too much to be done and so, so little time.
I've been really successful in meeting deadlines so far. It's all about time management. Prioritise your work, and nobody will be breathing down your neck.
I'm having lunch in the office right now (so much better than using packets of tissues to reserve seats) where it's air-conditioned and comfortable...
With entertainment right in front of me. What can beat that... seriously?
God, I'm so loving my life right now.
And Genting, here I come.

Realisation.

music: All That Remains - This Calling
There come a time in your life where you feel like you're totally lost and lonely. That transition from teen to adulthood is never easy. You make terrible decisions. You feel like you belong in an asylum. Life seems to descend into a downward spiral.
But if you spend enough time thinking and your analysis skills are excellent, you'll soon come to realise that it ain't so bad after all. Life is what it's hyped up to be.
During your transition, have you ever wondered how most adults can seem so happy? How some of them just glow with radiance?
I looked at my grandaunt a totally different way a few weeks back when I was back in Malaysia visiting. I was bored, so just out of my mind, while I was looking at her, I had a very deep thought... not questions, just little comments I made in my head.
I told myself that she's about 70+ years. That's more than thrice my age. She's gone through so much and look at where she is now... content. She seems happy. She looks happy.
I've had one bad relationship break-up (well, 2, if you count the one during my secondary school days) and already I felt like killing myself. So after that little pondering, I looked at my grandfather and thought about what he must have gone through.
His wife, my grandmother, left us about 4 years ago (she passed on, if you don't know what I mean), and he's still here. I guess at that age, you're too old to worry about such things, because you know your time's gonna come soon. I wonder what it's like to be that old and so close to death.
Don't worry Rik, you'll find out one day.
And I hope that during my final moments on this beautiful Earth (that we're slowly killing) I have no regrets.
I have none so far, and I'm not looking back. It's just in me to live in the past too much. I look back so often that I always miss what's right under my nose.
I'm not gonna make that mistake ever. Be gone past, and let you just be a history book locked away in the deepest archives of my cerebro.

A Bid Farewell
Nov. 16th, 2006 | 08:05 pm
mood:
Pumped
music: Killswitch Engage - A Bid Farewell
I WIL BID... FAREWELL!!!
SEVER THE TIES!!!
P.S.: This song is not directed to anyone. In fact, none of my material are subliminal. If it's directed towards someone, I will say who that someone is. I'm not the kind who thrashes people online and expect them to read and understand what I'm saying. I like this song. Simple as that. You watch/listen, and you'll know why. Don't go inserting more stuff into your already inflated head and feel that, "Ooh... Rik still cares about me," and shit like that.
And yeah, that was directed to my ex.
FCFive, this Saturday. Substation. I can't say it enough. I hope for about 500 people. Well, the last time Bellaluna organised a gig, double the number of people we predicted turned up. DOUBLE. I dunno about this one though.
But there's only a Japanese Hardcore Band signed under Roadrunner Records (also signed are Slipknot, Machinehead, Murderdolls, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Coal Chamber, Devildriver, Fear Factory and alot more kickass bands. Oh one more... Killswitch Engage, the very band you're listening to) playing on Saturday, so... no big deal.
;)
